It’s 2023 heading to 2024, which means full-face makeup people don’t really exist anymore. They do; it’s just not common between the “glazed donut” trend and the "natural, not natural look.” People enjoy the simple look.
I'm not saying there aren’t girls and guys who love the classic full face because it always serves. It’s still a look, don’t worry.
This post is a beginner’s guide to makeup to help you find what you love about the artistic form.
Blush:
Blush is initially used to soften your features. For long faces, apply to the apples of the cheeks and blend towards the hairline. For rounder faces, apply a curve from the temples to the cheekbones.
Concealer:
Concealer is used to hide any dark, noticeable blemishes from acne, dark circles, and/or imperfections on the skin.
It’s also used to add dimension to your face.
Mascara:
Mascara can help add definition, thickness, and length to your original lashes. It’s a perfect finishing touch for some. Although sometimes it’s not loved everywhere, personally, I don’t like mascara because of the feeling after it hardens.
No hate to those who wear it; I still own mascara.
Add a few coats of your desired mascara; start from the follicle to the ends of the lashes for a definite, thick look.
Lip Liner:
If you love to enhance your lip features, this is the product for you. I love lip liners, especially the coffee-colored ones. If you love the 90s look some artists give or would love to try something new, this is your girl.
You can choose a color that goes with your other lip products, or you can use it individually. Your choice. Follow the natural contours of your lips and voila.
Lipstick/Lip Gloss:
Pretty self-explanatory with lip products. You apply whatever lip product you desire and look good afterward.
But make sure you press your lips together to distribute the product evenly!
