Finding Purpose in Life

We all know that as we grow older, we have a harder time trying to figure out who we are as people. Even people in their 30s and 40s don't know who they are because they haven't taken the time to figure out where they fit in. And it's perfectly fine to still be trying to figure out where you fit in! It should not be regarded as a difficult subject because, believe it or not, ordinary people struggle to discover who they are as characters in any way.

The Struggle Behind Identity:

Sadly, the harsh reality of feeling judged for what you like or believe is something that will take a toll on you as a person. There are still people out there who don't know where they belong simply because everyone knows who they are on the outside. Every turn you’ll take, there’s nowhere to fit in, and all you can do is live life as peacefully as you can without feeling so bad for yourself. Social norms are a thing and should be stopped, because why should anyone have to be watered down into a category they obviously don’t fit in? Beauty standards, social norms—all these are different ways of forming insecurities and misidentifying your character.

The Main Purpose In Life:

Purpose doesn’t have a specific definition because everyone creates their own while on their self-discovering journey. Your life’s purpose is what you want and strive for at the end of the day because you are the only one living in your mind.

How?

- Surround Yourself Around Others Like You If you are determined to grow as a person, finding people who are in the same crowd will help you in the long run when attempting to develop long, meaningful, and healthy relationships and friendships. - Read Reading doesn’t have to be for knowledge because you can enjoy a good book just for the act of enjoying it. You can acquire much knowledge through wise words. - Discover Life Beyond You Life is more than what people have taught you. It’s a never-ending adventure between you, the world, and what’s inside of it. It’s never too late to pack up and travel if you can. Explore places you’ve never seen. The more you learn, the closer you will get to your ultimate life goal.

Life is a never-ending place full of adventures and opportunities. There is so much to discover, and while sitting at home in bed on your phone seems nice, figuring out how you want to spend your life seems even nicer. It’s never too late, whether you’re 18 or in your 80s; life is worth living, not wandering.
