Glass Skin is an upcoming skincare term that highlights the no blemish, even toned look that appears, metaphorically, as glass.

The term itself originated throughout the Korean Beauty area and quickly began to go viral on TikTok these past months.


1. Start using a double cleanser.

- Double Cleanser helps remove dirt, oil, and other impurities in the pores that a water based or foaming cleanser couldn't scrap up.

- If you're a beginner in skincare, then try micellar water or an oil based cleansing balm.


2. Toners are needed even if you don't think so.

- Toner is constantly overlooked because most of the time, people think it's a waste of money and offer no difference of results.

- They help restore the natural skin barrier PH level and can be used to hydrate the skin with the correct ingredients.


3. Hydration is key.

- Moisturiser is the key for both hydration and clear skin, if used correctly.

- Another bonus to moisturiser is improving skin elasticity & prevents early signs of aging.


4. SPF is a must.

- Everyone is around you, encouraging you to use SPF no matter where on social media you are.

- SPF is known to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and protects the skin from harmful UV rays in sunlight. It also reduced the rise or growth of skin cancer.
