Habits to Build a Balanced Life for 2024

Now that it is 2024, there are habits to build a structured life for you because this is your life and no one else’s. I’m not one to boss around, you’re free to make your own decisions but these are simply tips to help you GROW.


Lower Your Social Media Screen Time:

Coming from someone who is constantly binging my feed when I probably shouldn’t, social media isn’t worth all of the screen time or phone battery. Daily reminder: social media isn’t real! Comparing yourself to “prettier” people or to finances can damage the human brain.

No one deserves to feel less than, and social media can make a person feel that way.


Focusing On the Present:

If you’re self-conscious about the potential what-ifs of the future, it’s hard to not feel overwhelmed and pressured. You may be wondering about what others will think about a decision you’ve finally made, and it could hurt you mentally or emotionally.

Please focus on the present, the world isn’t ending!! But it’s okay to feel negative emotions like the ones listed above, you’re only human. 


Set REALISTIC Goals:

This sounds harsh but aiming for a large goal that can take up to years to achieve is unrealistic unless you have the resources to take off. Realistic goals can be small and at the moment, they can be 1-3 month goals from now that you wish to achieve.

If you can’t think of any tiny goals, start big then narrow down from there. 


Figuring Yourself Out:

Social media has been and will continue to warp your life into thinking you’re not good enough and so forth. Even if it’s for a day, week, or month to clear your head and find out what you want, like, etc. 

Your life is all about you, don’t let anyone tell you differently because they aren’t where they need to be either.
