Ugh, Why Do I Keep Getting Split Ends?

So, split ends have become your sworn enemy, huh? It’s fine, don’t worry. It happens. But do you know how you caused them? (I’m not a licensed cosmetologist)

Well, split ends can come in numerous amount of ways when dealing with your hair. It doesn’t matter what your hair type is, you can still get them. The most common ways are chemical treatments and continuous heat appliance. But there’s always a solution to every problem.

Regular Trims:

Naturally, the ends of your hair can begin to “split” every 3-4 months. It’s best to trim every 3-4 months to prevent split ends and help with hair growth!

Use Heat Only When Necessary:

I believe that heat only has to be used when necessary. I can’t control your heat use, so if you love heat take extra safety precautions like using a heat protectant.

Protect Your Hair:

If you use the condition-shampoo-condition method, it’s easier to protect those ends. When you apply conditioner first, it can seal a layer of protection for the ends. Also, air drying is better than blow drying unless you want a 90s blowout type of look.
