Ways to Reset After A Long Week

You just got home from your 9-5, the sweet social media gig, or just school. And you’re exhausted, might I add? Which means you need to reset. Through TikTok, we find that many people either don’t reset or use a specific day.

That specific day is Sunday. Sunday is known as “rest day,” which gives people the excuse to do absolutely nothing work-related. But any day can be a rest day because you’re the only one in control of your life.

This post allows you to discover different things to do as you rest.

Relaxing Bath:

If baths are your thing, take one. It helps calm the nerves, heightens your mood, and does many other things that are good for your well-being.

Many people don’t appreciate baths as much as they used to, so taking a bath will allow you to figure out what you like. Like, whether you love lavender or rosemary more. I don’t know. The possibilities of human thought are endless.

Take a Walk:

Walks are good for the mind, soul, and body. Literally.

With walks, you can do what you do in baths while being surrounded by the heart of nature. If you’re feeling frisky, why not take a slight jog around a park trail?

Walking has many benefits. Coming from someone who has a hard time with weight, walks are amazing if you’re not a gym person!

Lay Down:

Or you can do nothing but sit and stare at the ceiling for hours on end. It’s uncomfortable, the thought alone. But if you’re super tired, it’s never hard to get some more sleep.

After all, we need our beauty sleep. It’s essential to our mood and appearance.

Read Books:

Reading’s not for everyone, but if you are a hard-core reader or tolerate the pastime, crack open a book you’ve been meaning to get to for the past eighty years and fall into a mystery world.

Even if you’re not a huge reader, skim through a book, find one you’d read if you were a hard reader, and read it. It never hurts to deprive yourself of knowledge. Or intensive imagination.
